dustin no offense taken but let me give you my opinion on that. Pricewatch.com will give you the lowest prices or any online retailer, the great thing is though that many of these retailers are not at all reputable, take a look at some of them on resellerratings.com Let me price out my system for you at newegg.com agruable one of the best online computer retailers for both prices and service.

- soyo 645dx dragon ultra: no longer on newegg and sure on pricewatch it is going for $70 right now but I have never heard a thing about any of those dealers, so we will settle at $70 but you will have to understand that that is more than half the original cost of the board.

our pretty much straight out comparrison from a reputable dealer comes out to $614 and I understand that it is a used computer that is why I am not expecting $614 for it today but I am expecting something reasonable. I have put a lot of work into it and am willing to do any requested ugrades to it at no cost other than the components/software.

now I throw in a free floppy a whole $13 there (sarcasm) and a free kb, mouse, and speakers (once again somewhat sarcastic). But not so sarcastic, this machine has been completely assembled and has had many hours of work done on it, for example the heatsink has been lapped, all cables are extrememly neat, filters on the fan, and I have just plain out taken good care of it.

cdr .... you are very knowledgable, great posts. on the thread note ..... its seems no one is interested at that price man. see if your friend will bump it down. these cases arent uncommon these days, i actually have one too for my server.
