Not looking to part-out, would like to sell as complete package to minimize shipping woes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That being said...

CarPC/LCD was used for ~5 months. Preloaded with WinXP Pro & Frodoplayer.

CarPC consists of:

Morex 2699R Case (black)

- includes ac/dc power supply

M1-ATX 90W PSU

VIA Mini-ITX EPIA M10000N Mobo

GB Micro 512mb PC2700 DDR RAM

Chaintech AV-710 7.1 Optical Out Soundcard

Panasonic CW-8123 Slot load DVD/CD player

Maxtor 120GB Harddrive

8" Lilliput LCD Touchscreen

All cables needed except for lengthened USB & VGA cables to connect the LCD to the PC.

It works great and Frodoplayer provides an excellent interface. Soundcard has optical out so you may connect it to an external processor (I used an Alpine H700).

Will ship to Canada & US.

$850US shipped

Please email me at jordan1483@hotmail.com if seriously interested. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

not thread hijacking, but im somewhat of a computer guy(built my system) and how could all that cost upwards of $700?? is it the mini mobo/dvd player? im just trying to comprehend why this is so expensive when normally a system of those specs would sell for like $300-400 out of a consumer computer magazine? im not tryin to be offensive or anything , you can pm me if you want (if you feel like educating a carputer n00b)

x^2.... I was wondering the same thing.

You should go and price out all the components yourselves if you don't believe me. It cost me MORE than $850 to put it all together. Was upwards of $1100CDN after it was all said and done.

Here's the breakdown of what I've paid for it (CDN currency):

Morex 2699R Case (black) $100.00

M1-ATX 90W PSU $95.00

VIA Mini-ITX EPIA M10000N Mobo $210.00

GB Micro 512mb PC2700 DDR RAM $100.00

Chaintech AV-710 7.1 Optical Out Soundcard $50.00

Panasonic CW-8123 Slot load DVD/CD player $145.00

Maxtor 120GB Harddrive $120.00

Lilliput 8" LCD Touchscreen $315.00

Total CDN $1,135.00 (doesn't include GST or customs fees)

Total US $977.00

Keep in mind this is today's conversion...when I purchased everything, the CDN dollar was a good bit lower...and it doesn't include the time I spent building it, loading software and tweaking everything to work correctly.

Go price out a similar system from mp3car.com and you'll see that my asking price is more than reasonable. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
