I'll put it on a good trickle charge and get you the resting voltage. It's cold out right now so the voltage reading wouldn't be that accurate (batteries rest lower when it's cold out)

one last question maybe goofy. but just gotta make sure its what I'm looking for. can this take multiple discharges and be recharged over and over again?

Yeah that's what deepcycle batteries are designed for. These aren't like wet cells that will just die on you if they get discharged too much. Though if you discharge it make sure to charge it up immediately afterwards, cause the longer it sits discharged the more it will start to die on you. A 2A trickle charge over night usually does the trick

Just measured what the battery was sitting at, it's at 12.6v right now having been unplugged for nearly a week as well as it's cold outside. Giving it a 2A charge for the next few hours then I'll get back to you what it's at then.
