Thats right folks, brand new mkI with the black JBL dustcap. if you don't know anything about this line of subs, do yourself a favor and search. This is tied with the mighty Aura subs as my all time favorite subwoofers. With a good amount of power in a ported enclosure it hits like a 15" thanks to it's high Qts. It would also make a RIDICULOUS HT sub in 3cf w/ 3"x10.67" tube port with an F3 of 19hz! That was my original plan for the jbl but i just won't get around to it anytime soon and it's taking up space. price is firm at $190 shipped.

wow. still no useful information contributed. I actually speak from experience, and in MY experience the only sub that bests this in terms of sq is the aura 794 series (although it's VERY close). It can also take an absurd amount of power and get quite loud while maintaining it's composure. rather than going by specs and "xmax" I suggest some of you actually go out and try out different drivers rather than regurgitate what you read on your friendly little board. This has gotten way off topic so i'm done with the kids. PM if interested.

my shop in utah sold JBL infinity fosgate nakamichi orion kicker memphis mtx mbquart JL ect and I am telling you 1 last time: sound is subjective to the listener. I like the sub alot, but there are 25 more out there I would spend 3x's the money on for what they vs this as "the best 10" ever" abnd most of them are not even car audio subs! a selenium would rape this thing !

the differential drive GTI subs are one of the tightest sounding woofers

ever built for car audio but I wouldn't classify them as the best

I used the GTI subs for years but they lacked abuse handling and JBL

does not offer recones so I abandoned them

a pair of these are perfect for a 1200w rms amp ...........
