Item(s) for Sale:

Atomic 5000 watt amplifier

Item(s) Description/Condition:

8/10 Has scratches on it, I didn't put them on there the previous owner did. Amp was acting funny at first (going into protect) so I had it checked out and bench tested at Xtreme Autosound of Louisville and they couldn't get it to act up. I then put it in my buddy's car for two weeks and its acting just fine. Come to find out it was actually my Jeep's ground wire was fucked up and even my new Cresendo 5500 is going into protect. So, basically I screwed up and bought a brand new amp to fix a problem I didn't have to start with. Awesome right?? So this is why this amp is for sale now....don't need two amps!

Price:

$675 plus shipping, no trades, no reach arounds.

Shipping and Miscellaneous Item Information:

see above.

I know there is no picture with my name on it, but you can see the shop logo in the back on the door and....well i'm snoopdan. errra body knows me.

dang. I should have bought this when it was $450. that would have been a sick deal.

how come your keeping the crescendo over the atomic? I would choose the atomic over the crescendo personally.

Honestly they put up the same score, I'm just too lazy to pull the crescendo....and its still under warranty. One thing that did piss me off about the crescendo was that when I pulled it out last, all of the screws on the bottom of it fell out on their own. A new amp shouldn't do that when its mounted on the battery bank rack.

doesn't surprise me. There pretty cheap amps. I mean. I am not dogging them. But I know for a fact that the atomic 5k is a more solid amp. Should have better guts.

I had both apart side by side at one point, and their architecture is fairly close. The atomic has been a road dog though, got a lot of trophies from running it.

That's the cheapest you will ever find a proper 5k go for people. Atomic 5ks have more solid guts than sundown 4500 and dc 5ks.

They are amazing amps. Do not pass that up.

I know they have strong reliable internals because when I sent my exile in to john for repair. He compared it to his atomic 5k and there internals were almost identical.

And he compared the exile to a sundown 4500 and dc 5k. and the exile/atomic has more power fets and parts.

That atomic is a more reliable 5k any day than a dc/sundown and others.

and for about $640ish shipped. that is a serious deal. especially since I see sundown 4500's go for 700-800 when the atomic is a stronger amp.

I tried talking my buddy into buying this amp but he hasn't planned out his new build so it's not the right time.
