this is one of the amps i'm considering using for a new project, but i am unsure what to think of the power ratings.

did you test output? i find it hard to believe 100 watts at 4 ohms and at 2. i know alpine rates it at that, but it just seems silly

Same thing that JL does with some of their amps, and what Phoenix Gold did with their Xenon series...nothing too strange about it.
