The DLS A5 is a very nice amp, but not enough power for the components IMHO... therefore, I'll have to hold off and get the A7 instead. However, very nice price on the A5 though.

iceteebone, does the DLS A5 have enough power to really push components such as the Rainbow Germaniums which is rated at 150w RMS? This is my only concern with the A5.

It's rated at 85 watts rms and is underrated. The difference in wattage would be negligible. If you image your setup well, it should be plenty of power.

I've read where the DLS Ultimate amps have a ton of reserve built in, so it can reach down and dig up the power for it when the big notes hit. Which in turn is on par with alot of cheaper made amps rated at 100w RMS. Is this true?

DLS amp is no longer for sale. After some thinking, I'm first selling it way too cheap and I really can't part with it. I know I'll never be able to find another one if I sell it.

Good decision. Please keep it, i regret getting rid of it. So keep her and love her.
