FWIW, the 9835 and the 9855 are the last *great* CD decks that Alpine made. The 9855 gets negative points because of the awful GlideTouch face. So I'd crown the 9835 as the winner. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I think the 9887(?) that's being released this year is supposed to be along the same lines as those models.

I LOVED my 9835. One of the few decks I miss and it is for a fact the last great alpine built until 07 in which they cloned the 9835 for the most part and gave it a new model number hahaha.
