Item(s) Description/Condition:

All amps need new driver boards. I was trying out the SMD distortion detector and that thing is a joke. It messed up 5 out of my 6 amps....i sold the other 1 that wasn't affected. Nothing popped or is burnt when you take off the back plate. I talked to DB-R and the cost to replace the driver board and have it fixed is $75 per amp plus return shipping.They also said that they have had multiple problems when it comes to the SMD device. They told me to pass the word around not to use it. I just bought new amps so i have no use for these anymore. i really dont want to put the money into them to get fixed if i dont have to, but if these dont sell i am going to have to.Just seeing if i have any luck with people that might want them. I can take pictures and post them if need be.

I want to know how the DD1 f-kd up your amps.

I would like to know as well, we had one hooked to my memphis 16MC2000D and every time we would go to test it my amp would go into protect and it's never went into protect before so who knows?

hmm all I have heard about the DD1 is good things and have watched a few vids of it being used it dont seem like it could really do much to hurt an amp unless it was set up wrong.

Little research and answered my own question.

i turned all of my settings down on my amps and did it exactly how it was supposed to be done. If DB-R says they have had muilple problems with it themselves then i think it is a known problem. When i put my new amps in i am just going back to ohm's law.

Dd1 works perfect for me used it on losts of different amps but idk but it cost around 135 to compleatly rebuild these from dbr so great deal here

why did you quote my post with that reply? Doesn't make any sense, and i think you need to get a little better setup in your car if that sig of yours is what you actually have. Get on my level....then you can post in my thread. Til then keep the sh*t talking to a minimum.

LOL. I had a couple of these amps for a little while. They're quite solid, I'm shocked you managed to blow up 5

was drunk last night might have hit the wrong one. get on ur level? i like my system to sound nice as i have a sq system not garbage..... also im in the process of starting my new build with better stuff..... maybe u should take the level down a bit if u dont have the skills to set your amps right.....
