Item(s) Description/Condition:

All amps need new driver boards. I was trying out the SMD distortion detector and that thing is a joke. It messed up 5 out of my 6 amps....i sold the other 1 that wasn't affected. Nothing popped or is burnt when you take off the back plate. I talked to DB-R and the cost to replace the driver board and have it fixed is $75 per amp plus return shipping.They also said that they have had multiple problems when it comes to the SMD device. They told me to pass the word around not to use it. I just bought new amps so i have no use for these anymore. i really dont want to put the money into them to get fixed if i dont have to, but if these dont sell i am going to have to.Just seeing if i have any luck with people that might want them. I can take pictures and post them if need be.

was drunk last night might have hit the wrong one. get on ur level? i like my system to sound nice as i have a sq system not garbage..... also im in the process of starting my new build with better stuff..... maybe u should take the level down a bit if u dont have the skills to set your amps right.....

I've had this setup for years.The amps were set fine, i just bought the DD1 to see if maybe i could get a lil more gain on the TL before i took them out and put my new amps in. It might have been a user error , but just talking to DB-R made it seem like it wasn't. I'm just saying you aint got to be a lil smarta$$ about it. U didn't need to put your 2 cents in....you seem like you could use every penny to help your build "upgrade"

Well I looked and couldn't find nothing, now I curious what did you find out!

I asked how you could damage an amp with the dd-1 I but then I checked and if you really did something horible like set up the amps with the -15db's setting then it would prolly be possible to phuck them up.

lol im not poor man just dont need all that power and i have a kid need the space... also if u used track 7 to set your gains and listen to decaf thats most likely what did it. if u use track 5 u wont have that problem

it will be repaired....all 5 amps will be refurbished and will run like they are brand new. $325 shipped is a fair price. I tried to sell them as is for $150 shipped even got a price for repair at around $100 so people would know. Now I'm getting them fixed so they will work fine and nothing will be wrong and the price will increase to $325 because it will be like nothing ever happened to them. You think i would fix them and still sell for $150????? there are some real cheapos on this site.
