Sold FS: 4cuft Box tuned to 30 hz

Up for sale is a box I made for a 15"XXX. Unfortunately I was unable to get the box in my trunk. I knew it was gonna be tight, It didn't clear while putting it in buy like 1 inch or so. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif Made out of 3/4" MDF, screws about every 4 iinches. used wood glue and DAP caulk. The box is beautiful and I'm pissed that I'm not gonna be able to use it. The sub is centered as opposed to most other boxes. i believe the demensions are 16"h x 30"L x 26d". I'll go verify in a few. But this box should slam for any 15" that requires a big box. Sealed up completely. Sealed the outside in some areas just to be sure.

Local pickup only. I'm not really trying to ship this monster. Looking for around $125. I'm in NJ

haha i made this same exact box and i didnt fit in my trunk either. so i just took off the top peice and cut off 2 inches from the top with a jog saw. now its dandy.

Good job. As for my box, I didn't have the room to cut even an inch off. The sub cut out pretty much takes up all the surface on the front peice. Plus now I have a false floor which makes my height measurement even less.

How well will this box handle a 15" Mag D2?

From what I have read the ideal conditions would be a 3.5 cubic ft and tuned to 27Hz. Is this correct? I know this box is a few dim. off but didn't know how much it would affect sound quality.

Im in the market for a box as i don't have one. I live in Maryland, bout 3 1/2 hours one way, and i would be willing to meet half way if this would work for me! Thanks

Hey,

SI website says 3.5 cubes at 30 hz. So the tuning is perfect but it's about .5 cubes bigger. I can't really comment on how it will sound since I don't have any experience with the Mag. My guess would be that it will be all good but maybe try to ask someone who is running a mag with 4 cubes.

Let me know, I'd be willing to drive about an hour or so.
