Sold FS - 2 NIB Ascendant Audio Avalanche 18's

I bought these two years ago and never did anything with them. I opened the boxes on arrival for physical inspection and stored them in the original boxes. They have never been mounted nor connected and are in new/mint condition just as they first arrived.

My intention was to use these for HT but I never got around to it. I hate to sell these but I can't take on any projects and I don't want them to just sit here unused.

As you already know, these are the ultimate when it comes to SQ.

whats the maxium amount of watts you think these can take continuiously

It depends on enclosure design but I've read many posts claiming 1200-1500 watts RMS. These aren't rated that high but Chad may have been conservatively rating them. They are, after all, SQ drivers, not really intended for maximum SPL. That said, they get very loud indeed.

They are rated for 800 watts rms, but will take a little more, I was sending my Ava 15 about 1200 watts rms daily, I never got the coils smelling or anything!
