I bought these two years ago and never did anything with them. I opened the boxes on arrival for physical inspection and stored them in the original boxes. They have never been mounted nor connected and are in new/mint condition just as they first arrived.

My intention was to use these for HT but I never got around to it. I hate to sell these but I can't take on any projects and I don't want them to just sit here unused.

As you already know, these are the ultimate when it comes to SQ.

*EDIT* (Price Added) Asking Price is $375 each shipping included CONUS. If these don't sell within 30 days I might drop the price. I have these listed on 7 websites so far.

Let the bidding begin!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Probably the Nikon Coolpix 4300, great camera I had mine for over 5 years and still works. i bought a P2, just as nice... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yes that's the one. I forgot to post the Model #... sorry [ebarrassed quirkey grin]

Here's an example of what the Coolpix 4300 can do with close-ups. This is a compiled image.

I haven't gotten into the iPod thing. Not that there's anything wrong with them... I just prefer uncompressed media.

Thank you though :)

I am interested in some high-end Alpine car A/V and their digital crossover/EQ.

It depends on tuning frequency. I've seen these in relatively small boxes but they were tuned a bit high for my taste. I've also seen them tuned to 12Hz for HT... HUGE boxes.

Have you considered going with a sealed enclosure? IMO, a single AVA 18 in a sealed enclosure tuned to ~70 Hz and crossed over at 50Hz would be Ideal for your application... assuming your door speakers can handle 50Hz. But I'm into SQ and don't realy care about high volume levels. Are you wanting to compete in HPL contests?

How big of a box do these need to be ported? I would take both and put them on a IA 20.1 if I could fit them in my small *** Rodeo.

It's the in-box resonant frequency, which is higher than the speaker's Fs. Smaller boxes are tuned to higher frequencies than larger boxes due to having smaller air springs. Frequencies below box resonance will decrease at 12 Db/octave thereby self-EQing to compensate for cabin gain. The average resonance of a vehicle is 70Hz or so. Tuning a sealed enclosure to cabin resonance and crossing the subs over a bit below that frequency "generally" yields the best SQ. Of course, if HPL is your game, that's another story //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

how can a sealed enclosure be tuned at all?

Okay... I'll let them go for $350 each shipped CONUS (for 1) or $325 each shipped CONUS (if you buy both). OR... $315 each picked up (for 1) or $295 each picked up (if you buy both)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It breaks my heart to sell these:crap:

If I can't get at least that much for them, I'll store them until I can put them to good use;)

CHEERS!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/toast.gif.bc0657bf54b9ee653b6438524461341e.gif
