im selling a pair of mtx 9500 12 inch subs for $450 plus the actuall shipping charges

they are only 3 months old perfect condition, still have about 9 months on the factory warrenty left.

cone is still very stiff

10/10 cosmetically and 10/10 funtionally

mannnn I would be so much more pised if those were DVC...
Why you changin from 9500;s to L7's... seems like a downgrade to me... and are you gettin 15's? I know the 9500 15's have 3" VC
FYI the 15 inch 9500's and the 12inch 9500 same everything except for cone size, same moter, same magnate the 12's have a 3" vc also

the mtx are good sub all around. if your going for sql then the mtx is your sub, if your going mainly for spl then not really.

the mtx dont seem to like a box bigger then ported then 35hz, mine is 38hz, if you want a loud set up with theses subs go for porting around 33hz, they will hit low notes and they will have some pretty **** good sq to them.

but mainly im getting rid of them because my box is not suited the best for tese subs, and its alot easier to change the subs then it is my box, look at my pics and you will agree.

as the l7's on the other hand will pound in this box tuned to 38hz.

other then that i have no gripes about the mtx9500 theya re a good sub, built like a tank, litterally.

how many threads have you seen that said i just blew my mtx9500?, i havent seen one yet

9512ss you should do a review on the 9500s when you get them
if you need to know anything about them i can help you, i did do some good research before i bought them.

i liked the subs so much that i bought them knowing that they werent going to be the best sub for what i was doing, but i just had to have them.

well i proved myself wrong i want higher spl scores more then i want these subs, dont get me wrong they get loud as hell, but i have reached the limit capabilities of these subs for the amount of space i can put them in and im not swapping out my amps to give them more power, i love my amps.

these subs can take 2,000watts with out batting an eye
