Sold FS: 15" RE Audio SX

Like the title says, Used 15" SX for sale.

Mechanical: 9.5/10 - No problems out of it, the only reason I say 9.5 is because its used.

Cosmetic: 9/10 - little scuff on the cone, and a little one on the basket.

I've had absolutely NO problems out of this woofer. I have had it for about a year, only had power on it 6-7 months.

I want $250 shipped for it.

I know I am pretty new here, but I attend many other audio forums quite often. They only refs I can think of on here would be bdawson and loyd(bigbassman)

I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I could sell my spare amp. unless your in need of an amp or knows someone who needs one. 1000rms @ 1 ohm but does more than rated power

Btw.. how much did you power that sub with and what is the VC config? I'd assume D2 but there are some D1 floating around as well as some D4

Yeah, its Dual 2. I was putting a RF 10001bd to it. So in the 1200w range.

What kinda amp you trying to get rid of? I might be interested. PM me.

I don't believe I recieved it in a "safety" crate from RE. It was just a cardboard box with packing foam.

I don't have any pics of the basket right now, I can post a pic of the cone though right now. No digital camera to take more pics right now.

what size box would this thing need?

I tried a couple different boxes with it. I made one around 2.5 cubes tuned to like 32 hz, I didn't like the sound of it too much.

The one I ended up sticking with was about 4 cubes tuned to around 38-40hz. It got loud, I wished I had tuned it a bit lower though.

I think RE's website has some recommendations on boxes though.
