SOLD FS 15" Brahma MKII / HC

Hey guys, I have a 15" Adire Audio MKII subwoofer that was blown. It has been fully reconed with a 15" RE Audio HC quad 0.8 vc recone kit.

The sub has no play time on it since recone. It has been tested and that's it.

quad .8 voice coils...? how would you go about wiring these, and can you get around a 1 ohm load, id plan on using a jbl 1200.1

Well you can get a 0.8 ohm load from them. This would be perfect for that amp. This is the actual DCR of the coil and most dual 2 ohm speakers are 1.4-1.8 ohms DCR. Now this is a quad 0.8, so series 2 coils and you get dual 1.6 which is basically the standard for a dual 2 ohm subwoofer.

They say it is dual 2 ohm becaue there is impedence rise with the speaker wires, and the box. They design them a little bit lower.

Just wire 2 voice coils in Series, and the other 2 in series. Now you will have 2 sets of wires, parallel them to get your 1 ohm load //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
