It's time for me to sell off the extra car audio stuff I have. It's just sitting here and I have no use for any of it at the moment except for an IDQ15 I'm gonna use in an HT setup.

First up, two JL 10W3v1's. Dual 4 VC config. 14mm xmax. Fs of 28.8Hz I believe. Mechanically in perfect condition, had them on 350wrms each at one point. I know a few people that have had this model sub that have given them 600wrms. Pretty well known sub, I don't think I need to talk to much about it. Surround and cone are perfect, cosmetically the only thing wrong with them is the "seperating trim ring" condition that you see on a lot of these older subs.

The box is free if you want it, dimensions are 32Wx11Hx13D.

Price: $100->90+shipping

Second, the 12" Sound Splinter RL-p. D2 VC. Mint condition throughout, I've had it since like July '06 I believe, bought new. Had it on 800wrms @ 4ohms from the Soundstream amp I'm still using. Love the sub, but I've upgraded to a Fi Q15 w/BP and I'm finally using the amp to its full potential.

Price: $180+shipping

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Third, an Autotek SX-4160. Four channel amp.

100 Watts X 4 Channels @ 4 Ohms

150 Watts X 4 Channels @ 2 Ohms

320 Watts X 2 Channels @ 4 Ohms Bridged

Mechanically the amp is 9/10, I can't call it a 10/10 because everything works fine except the high pass filter knobs are gone (!). Don't know how that happened cause that's how I got the amp (got it used, I'm the second owner), but it shouldn't matter cause if you have a HU (which I'm guessing you do if you have a system) you can just set the HPF on that, right?

Price: $85->70+shipping

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally, a Kenwood KAC-729S. 10/10 mechanically, 7/10 cosmetically cause it has minor scratches on it. I would have taken pics of it today along with the others but I can't find it, thought it was under the bed with the other stuff but it isn't. Will post pics when I find it.

$75->$55+shipping

Let me know if I'm out of line with my asking prices, I don't think I am but than I don't follow the used market that well to know exactly how much these things are worth.

Please don't PM me with an offer half of my asking price, I'm not in a dire financial situation, I'm just trying to sell off good parts to people that can use them instead of having them collect dust.

Hmm... I just read up on JL's site, and they say they are 125w rms... I just need to be sure they can take 500-600w... Also the seperation of the trim ring? Will not effect mounting or anything?

Thanks!

Well all I can tell you is to search the forum for info on the W3's power handling, I can only claim that they handle 600w no problem. Try and find members that have had these speakers and ask them what they thought. Only person I can think of I know on the forum that had W3's on 600w is 80 INCHES, send him a PM and let him give you his take on it.

PS Haven't been on JL's site in a while but I'm pretty sure the W3's are listed at 300w nominal power handling, not 125w.

Seperation of the trim ring won't affect mounting. I'll get you better pics if you like later this week.

Thanks. I'll search around on here.

no i owned a JL W3 V1 and it could have taken more power than the 500 watts that i gave it, JL subs are very durable especially the new ones if you have the W3V2
well i have my 10w3 (the first versions.with 250rms)in a 2 cube ported box tuned 2 29hz and it loves it...i have a house amp powering it

when i had it in my car i was throwing 600watts daily and at comps i was throwing 750watts to each of them...and mind u i have no problems with it..i have my subs for 5 years now....and no i'm not saying people should double there power ..i'm just saying for the w3 line its very underrated...jlaudio tech guys will tell u that..they dont reccomend u do so but if u do it has no problem taking it

thats what was told to me..and there right

got vid 2 prove it...playing a 13-19hz test tone with 600wats and it didnt show sign of stress
Thats what I found from a two minute search, I'm sure there should be more.
