One reason I have a new one installed but yes they did have problems with them. The new trans has literally less than 100 miles on it, drove it home and parked it and been riding my bike to save on gas and all.

i have the same car just 04 and MT. dealer offered 6200 on trade in, w/o wheels. mine has 95k miles and still original everything, except tires wipers and headlights. great car for daily commute. i get 39mpg no matter what and 44 highway. glws
