Your amp is probably clipping like a mofo. The rl-i series and rl-p are two different subs...

I dont have any experience with ED amps and Im too lazy to read through the thread again to see what you said about ur gains. How are they adjusted? Bass boost is no more than 1/4 up? Xover not past 1/2 way up or more than ~100hz? Ground is clean and tight?

Bass Boost is completely off, i don't like it on, it makes it boomy sounding. Gain is about 1/2, crossover is at around 80. Ground is fine, bolted onto my fender.
