I have some store credit form sonicelectronix. and i need to get something for my front stage. i returned those phoenix golds due to not being able to fit.

my doors can fit anything under 2.5"

so pretty shallow components. my amp is rated at 75W RMSx4 @4ohms

What size components are you looking for?

Maybe you could just get creative and create mdf baffles/spacers to give your speakers more clearance.

I converted my fronts from 5 1/4" to 6 1/2" with mdf baffles and I couldn't be happier. Just search around on this site for tips and ideas for how to do it, it was really simple on my car.

As for your budget I recommend Image Dynamics CTX65CS speakers (6.5"), they are listed at 180$. I'm not sure if that site carries them though. There are also plenty of good speakers in your price range, look in the speaker section of the forum.

it sucks that they are 6.75" speakers

but they might fit. because i bought universal spacers. and the spacers werent big enough..

and it comes with a shallow mount adapter
