Hey guys I am not sure about what to do here, and part of the indecision is what I have, what I can get and what the price will be.

First let me say I have a Memphis 16-MCH 1300 Belle that I was going to use (unless I can get 2 zapco amps adding cash TRADE). The amp is said to have 75x4 at 4 ohm front and sub channel of 600x1 at 2 ohm bridged. Also 4ohm bridged the front channels will work at 230x2 they say.

I am looking for CLEAN sound, not pounding bass. I have a Chrysler 300C SRT that has 4" in the corners of the dash (they were 3.5" and I enlarged them) and it has 6x9s in the doors but I have put Kicker 8s in there before. Not sure the depth however. The kickers were less than 3".

The rear deck has been removed and I am running no rear fill - only 2 ID 10s back there on a IB. Pics below.

I have 2 sets of 4" speakers pictured (Morel, they are old) that I was going to sell or use and I have a set of new in box Morel Integra 6.5 Coax and also a set of Kicker ssmb8s shallow free air 8s. I was thinking of using 2 channels for the 4" components MOREL and then buying a midbass 8" driver or using the kickers crossing them over actively (I love MIDBASS) on the other 2 front channels of the Memphis.

My friend that is out of town til tomorrow night says he has a Set of 3 way DLS at his house that he will give me for some work I did for him (they are new, and he does not know the model, said they are high end - I have no clue he is a autho dealer for DLS) and also I could sell the DLS then get some Dynaudio 3 ways for $660.00 - I know a guy with a family member that works there.

I like POP, RB, rap, jazz... Lots of different music. Also as I say I love midbass, but truthfully I don't need or want over powering bass. If anyone has suggestions for me I would appreciate it. I am assuming waiting and using the 3 way will be the better option but I am just not sure.

All active huh? Wish the audio control piece I was going to get worked with bandpass for the door drivers.

Since you said Zapco in your earlier post....go with the DC Series amps...you can set config to bandpass for whatever channel you want....

Give the TS-C720PRS's a whirl and go active with them. If you don't like them, you can probably dang near make back what you spent on them.

I have no clue, I just got off the phone with Audio Control, and I am more confused now than before...

F ME...

I was going to use the DQL 8 which I thought I could REMOVE my factory AMP, then run the wires that were going to the factory amp to the DQL8 then from the dq to the Memphis amp I have (or to passive crossovers then to speakers.

This sucks.

I was looking at the JL clean sween ssi and the dsp unit, or this unit.

That belle is bad-*** man. I say just bridget the 4 channels and get 230x2 and get a nice either 2 way or 3 way comp set for the frontstage. I would even say with all of the custom stuff you have done to your rear deck, do something custom for the belle.

BTW, DLS makes some good speakers man, I hear they are the cheaper versions of DYnaudio's.

360.2 is junk.... DLS and Dynaudio not even close to being the same speaker.... Morel is actually a "cheaper" copy of Dyn's...

360 looked too complicated. I heard some people with blue tooth issues. I hope I didnt make a mistake I bought a JL dsp and summing unit new for $300.00

Someone then told me about a part from PAC that does the same thing for 1/3 or less the price.

I AM SO CONFUSED... From what I understand the JL does nothing but give u a flat line. No eq at all. So why is it 2 parts, one says DSP and why is it 300.00

Which of the DLS and DYN are u thinking is better? Just curious. And are the Morels that I have junk?

Ok..gladly....

Unit #1... Installed into a brand new Ford Fusion with factory nav...for a sq competitor... worked for 24 hours and quit connecting via bluetooth... tried to connect palm to cell-phone via bluetooth..presto ..connection...

Unit #2.. that was overnighted from fosgate...worked for 2 weeks, than low and behold... we where unable to connect to the unit via bluetooth...

When explaining to Rockford Technical Support they tell us they have been having this issue and wanted to know the build dates of the prior 2 units...they where both built on the same day, so they decided that was the factor... it wasn't...

Unit #3.. worked for 72 hours... build date was a month after the first 2.... so when send that unit off.....

Unit #4....worked for about a month...went to Carl Casper 2008 show and was trying to adjust for RTA...presto...no connection... was unable to connect to the unit.. So we pulled it out...sent everything Rockford in our store back and went with a product that works everytime you go to use it....

Now in defense of the unit.....it is pretty slick...when you can get it to work... if and when the bluetooth chip goes out, you loose all adjustment... and there is no other way to adjust your settings... so once it goes you are a screwed pooch... you then would have to send the unit off and have no radio....Im sorry but for the price tag of this unit... there is much better on a reliability standpoint...

And just to answer any doubts... unit was installed and calibrated per the installation instructions...
