So where is the part where he said "come to me if you want to get the product?" Thats more like advertising, not "hey this product is great and here is why"

This has already been asked by Geoff. It would have been fine had he not been affiliated with the company the review was for or had the company he advertised for been a vendor. He is affiliated with the company the review was for. If we let anyone post reviews for companies they were affiliated with then there would be no vendor accounts. They would just post reviews of their own products to push sales.

Prior to his current signature he was advertising he was a team member for the company the review was for. He is affiliated with the company he is posting reviews for. He was told this already. Advertising for a company you are affiliated with is against the rules. Its simple. If he wants to advertise for them they can become a vendor. He even stated in his original post that he was trying to bring them to light in the US as they dont have a huge market here. He spelled out his goals for the post.
You are on the team and no you cannot. Keep pushing the envelope on this after a collective mod decision you may find yourself with a vacation.
Do you have proof I am on the team? This is getting really annoying. I go through all of this effort to fit into your rules, and then your hard-headiness comes back into play and you come off as an asshole. I'm not sure what I really did to **** you off besides calling you out in the original thread, but this is starting to get really old really fast. Not trying to pin mods against each other here, but I talked to Dustin and he said that taking away the affiliations would solve the problem, and to everybody else, it has as well. So I ask you again, how am I affiliated with the company if I am no longer on the team?
You cant just say your on the team, remove the signature, and pretend your off the team to circumvent the rules. Who would just quite a team to post a review that doesnt benefit them? After all you claimed it didnt do anything to benefit you. Staying on the team obviously had monetary benefits in the form of discounts. If posting the review didnt benefit you would would you go through all the trouble to quit a team where you had monetary benefits in the form of product discounts? Seems like I was right after all and you did stand to benefit from advertising.
