Those of you who do post, are not allowed to recommend products, post 3rd party reviews, or say anything positive about the company unless they are vendors on the site.

I love Skar audio and all his products. I guess the mod's should remove any posts which involve me supporting Skar's business, I just nut hug Kevin more than he deserves.

I agree with this 100%, I get tired of seeing people recommend stuff that doesn't fit the application at all just 'cause they're huggers.

There are a lot of people on this forum that are on teams and are affiliated with companies, but some of the moderation staff feels that because they are affiliated with companies, they must become vendors to recommend their products.

I agree with this 100%, I get tired of seeing people recommend stuff that doesn't fit the application at all just 'cause they're huggers.

I think that is ridiculous. People that do that are idiots, but there are other people that are just trying to help that won't be able to if something like this is in place.

what about those of us that are anti nut huggers, for instance all of us skar haters...where do we fit in to this situation?

Op- sucks that your thread got deleted, I saw the response to it thats closed in the dome. mods fucked you, end of story. You have nothing to gain from what you did unless you were trying to get people to buy the product, which it doesnt sound like that was your motive at all. Sounds like you were just an overtly happy customer and the mods threw ice water on your erection.

well i became a vendor because i was told some time back ,that because of being a rep for dc ,which by the way is owned by my good friend's rusty and ana , that if i still was gonna try to sell things every now and then that i needed to upgrade to a vendor status,also was told the same on caco as well.at the time i wasn't selling that much stuff , but since i was pretty much told either do this or dont sell any more ,i did but now rules have changed and i can only offer my services in a wtb thread or i have to upgrade even again to have my own forum to sell my equipment .

Yeah, this is about the same way I feel about it. I was in there as it happened. From what I remember, you simply gave a review, and weren't pushing it.

So if he didn't have that team name in his sig this would have been totally cool, even if not a single word was changed in the review?
