Friends 2 R's are sealed and sound like Garbage

My friend has 2 Alpine Type R's sealed at .8 cuft each and they sound like trash, i keep telling him to build a nice ported box but he somehow is sure that he doesnt like ported boxes (all he has heard was prefab best buy ones) and he says that he listens to Guyanese music, jungle beats Rydm driven etc so would a ported box at 35hz sound good to him?

He says he doesnt like Lows.

LOL, he says my box that i made 2.5cuft ported to 29hz sounds bad.. I think it sounds amazing. If i didnt have my custom box my setup would not even sound half as good.

He doesn't like the HIGH excursion lows, he likes about 50hz burps of bass, you know the Jungle beats.

Think forgot about dre..

I want to educate him on things.. would 35hz sound good or should it be ported at say 40hz? I would assume a 40hz tuned box would really miss some lows.

Who ever has Type R's sealed needs to get out of car audio. Tell him if he doesnt like lows to get some 8"s and sell you his R's dirt cheap lol.
