Friend to buy a corvette

The lady I carpool with is looking into getting a vette. It's a 1999 model with aprox 73k....Pretty nice condition (I have seen it). They are wanting $15,500.

I didn't see any leaks and everything seemed to work. A little rough around the edges in the interior.

None that I could see. I couldn't see any frame damage, but it wasn't on a rack either. It looks like it has spent the majority of it's life just sitting...rust accumulated on rotors and calipers.

I've always found vettes to be a waste, but the price is pretty good. Even if she has to dump 2k into getting it back up it's still decent.

To be honest, she wouldn't have to dump any money into it...it drives fine. It's not perfect, but it is in VERY GOOD condition. There is some wear and tear, but consider the car is 10 years old.
