Friend needs a single 15" setup recomendations NE1?

A friend of mine is lookin for a single 15 to handle about 2000-2500 wrms( I cant remember what kinda amp it is maybe a RF). He has about 500 to spend. The only 15s I can think of for him are RE mts (but he doesnt want a used one and I would smack him if he paid that much for a new one)Aq HD3s(my babies) and the Fi audio BLT which I know nothing about. He is lookin for straight up spl.Any other subs out there in the same price range that can handle the power?Also of the 3 which do u think he would happier with?Thanks for any help or opinions.
