If anyone needs a small sealed/ported box built, I'd be more than happy to help out and build one for free. I'm no bjfish, but I can build a pretty nice box, using just a circular saw. I guarantee all my cuts to be within 1/32 of an inch, and for each box to be completely sealed.

Just pay for wood ($26), plus a few extra $$ for screws ($3), and shipping costs.

I don't do anything fancy, just basic boxes. No router, etc. I do sand everything down real nice, and would have no problem covering the box in truck bedliner, so long as you pay it.

I just have a lot of free time, and get really bored, LOL, and I'm looking to improve my skills.

Nothing complicated, I'd like to keep it to under 2 cubes, because of shipping costs and packaging complications.

PM me if you're interested. Thanks.

Also, the hole is cut out with a jig saw, and all screws are counter-sunk.

If you're looking for a super nice box, built by a professional, look elsewhere. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

this is good to know.
You would think I would spend my free time studying and what not....but nope, LOL.

I just REALLY enjoy building boxes, and my skills improve each time I build a new box. I wanted a table saw for the longest time, but not anymore, because I pretty much have the circular saw mastered, in terms of accuracy. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

not trying to diss but 32$ for under 2 cubes? Surely it dont take a whole sheet for under 2 cubes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.

Well see that's the thing, I drive an Accord, so I have Home Depot cut the wood in to 4 x 2 sheets so I can fit it in my car. It's really not all that efficient.

If I get 3 or 4 people that all want a decent size box, I'll rent a pick up truck and bring home some full sheets, or atleast half sheets, to get more use out of them as a whole.

Nah mean?

Also, I play with dimensions and make things work to my benefit. With the way I have them cut the wood, I've built up to 3 cube boxes before. Usually anything less than 2 cubes, I have an extra 2 x 4 sheet.

a table saw is essential though if you ever want to "kerf". it can be done with a hand saw, but the blade isn't thick enough

Last box built for a single mojo was hitting 146.** in a softtop convertible clk430, and handled a good 4000 watts with ease.. Havent seen him in a minute, so boxes would most likely be better than when i saw.. Nobody would have any complaints, looked completely professional except i did to it (ie: Aeros ports, duct tape)

Once my next car is found, i'll probably be using one of his boxes and hitting mid-150s.
