Free air sub???

freeair subs are big here in Miami. Alot of the ghetto boys around here put a piece of plywood behind their rear seats and just mount 4 12" freeair subs to it. the whole trunk becomes like a giant box. I think kicker comps are freeair I know ElectroBass subs are they use them alot here.
Thats what a friend of mine had it like a LONG time ago. Got some plywood cut out some holes and hung it from with zip ties in the trunk off the back 6x9 speaker panel in the trunk. was not loud at all. sounded like crap LOL. that also might of been because he didnt have a amp and was just using the existing wires for the back 6x9 speakers

Well most subs the trunk still acts a little bit like a box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif -- the Avalanche 15" in my trunk for example hangs out at about a .4qtc -- where IB it would be more like .3

Image Dynamics IDMax and IDv3, Soundsplinter Rl-i, DLS Ultimate Reference, Dayton IB series, Infinity VQ, Ascendant Atlas.....tons more, but I'm having a brainfart.
eD Ov1 (can still find them is u try) and Entasi audio had an IB sub

edit: frosty stole my eD O sub idea, although he posted it first it was stolen...
