I was kind of thinking the same thing. The point of the whole "test" was to prove that the 15A isn't going to just break at the slightest touch.

How many of us are going to actually start stacking shit on top of our drivers?

Jlaine, on the contrary, us newbies (as compared to you and David's knowledge) are learning quite a bit. We also make our own decisions and conclusions.

David isn't 'teaching' you anything - I suggest if you need a source to learn, please find someone that teaches you the strengths in designs before finding flaws in a competitors... One has merits, the other is a sales pitch.

He's spending his time here trying to point out supposed flaws in drivers that a competitor sells, because it's directly in his best interest to do so. It's not a 'helping you learn' motive - no matter how one wishes to cut it. It's like me, an adire salesman, spending my time looking for threads with RE and simply stating that they are flawed because _____ insert reason here.

It's not enlightenment, it's outright headhunting hidden behind a fake mask of friendliness. Get deep enough into the undertones between companies and you can read between the lines quite easily.

Next up will come the conversation about 'all those A's cones breaking' - yet won't be able to reference more than 3 or 4 total, out of lord knows how many flat cone woofers out there.

I said...It only seems to be with their 15's. It's not a very hard thing to figure out that they need more surface to glue to. Big Whoop!

All those flat cone woofers out there...Yet I havent seen any of them break except for the 15" ED subs. They need a larger area to glue to.

umm...i currently have a 15A whose former ripped from the cone while i was playing music with my 800.2 at not a very high volume.
