Four Sub Choices Help Choose

I posted about a week ago looking for some suggestions and have narrowed my choices down to 4 different setups. I would like some input from those who have heard 1 or more of these subs.

My previous set up 2 years ago was a 04 15" RE XXX ported with 5.2 cubes tuned at 32hz strapped with a Cadence ZRS-9

I would like to step up my system from the above mentioned setup. Im not looking to compete but with some box work and clean install would like to maintain SQ and be somewhat close to the 150db mark. So I am asking which of the setups would be the best choice for a SQL setup

The reason for different sub sizes is due to the fact that I have about 5.5 cubes to spare assuming the box is built with 1" MDF as my previous box was. So those requiring less cuft may be upped to the 15" models

Those XXX's are a hell of a SQL woofer. I'm not sure what can top it. Hmm....

Have you looked into the Ascendant Audio Arsenals?? They may be a step up from the XXX's but I doubt it.

Ya, I loved that XXX....But I have not looked into the AA Arsenals thanks for the recommendation I will check into those

I voted for the 2 15'' RLP's ported. The 12'' DP setup wouldnt be too bad either.

The 15" TC3k's will fit into the smallest ported boxes of all the drivers listed, I'm sure why you are choosing sealed while others are ported. You can fit each into 1.6cubic feet at 27hz. The alignments on the website are for maximum extension/output. There are many to choose from, and you can download winISD to see for yourself. Just plug in the T/S of each driver. The 15's ported should be about 4+ dB louder than two 12" mags ported to give you an idea. That's more than twice the efficiency (half the power handling)

Yea WinISD is perfect for telling you how loud your going to be?

oh yea kyle if they are going to be so much louder why dont u guys send some for us to test at the test session.. my money is on mags > tc3ks
