thanks in advance guys

You already buy them?

Typically (and I mean typically), ported boxes are louder (spl), sealed is more for sound quality (sq) and more power handling.

And typically, if your using one amp for all of them, common chamber is fine.

Says .5 - 2cubes each sub ported. I'd go with 5-6 cube box (if not bigger) and see how they do.

Dunno about port or tuning though for those

I'd go with 5 or so, little higher tuning I'm thinking, 34-35 maybe. And a bunch of port //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'm a noob to ported enclosures, what is the benefits of having more port area. I understand that the larger the opening the less chance for noise, but what are the other reasons?

What kind of power are you planning on using? I was going to use my MMATS 500.1 because I was thinking they may be a tad overrated but the Credence guy corrected me quickly and said they'll take 300 all day long so I'm going to use my BX 1500d.

for four 10's with the power, i'd personally, off the top of my head go around 5ft^3 at 32-34 hz, kinda what anniku or whatever said but dont make a monsterous open port, 32 hz doesn't need that much, i'd say go to the re box builder and play around

5ft^3 net volume tuned to 36hz. sounds amazing. I love four 10's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

BTW that is a 2 chamber design and the only reason I did it that way was to elimate the need for bracing. I had these in a comman chamber before but the port was designed/built poorly and they sounded like crap above 45 hz. Now they sound awesome. I listen to everything but country and I havent listened to anything yet that doesnt sound good with this new box.

and you dont need subs for sport talk...
