I have never seen Denim in here act blatantly like an ******* in any way whatsoever, most of his post seem pretty well thought out and respectful from what I've seen. Although everyone is entitled to their opinions.

On another note, my old school (like year 1996 or something) JL W6's were amazing, They still remain the cleanest subs I've heard. I paid 75 dollars for my 15 W6 and I loved it. But nowadays I prefer SPL oriented equipment. I don't get where people are getting that JL is a terrible brand. It has been said but I'll say it again, for the price, meh. But besides the price it is still a solid product that makes their goals very clear.

Clueless people this site and CACO make fun of them... NOT the rest of the industry. People here hug Audiopipe!! That should be made fun of.Yes the low end JL is **** and overpriced. Then you are just buying a name. But if you use it for what IT WAS DESIGNED FOR, it works well.

I'd take AP for the price over a stinkin JL.

id take my audioque over anything jl. however i do like they w713s, i dont like the price. i could buy 2 more hdc3 18s, and another bb2400.1 so ican strap them(i will probly get bashed in this thread for listing the bb2400, but no fvck will be given)....

Thats why they are two totally different subs for different goals... I would take my subs over JLs but that doesnt mean there is anything wrong with them. if you have never heard a well setup 13W7 I suggest you look for one.

oh no ive heard them. my friend had a single 13.5w7 in his trailblazer with a jl1000.1 and it sounded really good. it was loud & had nice SQ. and he was doing 145.7 on a TL. i said i like the w7. im not hating on them. its just the pricing i dont like

Thats the thing though. There is nothing that sounds like it that can get that loud. So it dont really have a comparision. You pay for unique

Obviously you have not heard one of the older SS XXX's. They have excellent sq, and get extremely loud. Probably one of the best subs ever made, and came in way below JL's pricepoint.

I have not... To bad they are not the same to compare. Atleast the W7 has not went down hill like everything else that was "just as good"

Also did the xxx get that loud off of only 1000-1500 watts?
