Found one of my dream cars - buying in a few weeks hopefully.

Seen it at a guys house today so i stopped and talked to him about it. Its a 1980 Chevy Malibu wagon, in great shape, grey with burgundy interior and rally wheels, 76k miles on a nice small block, original owner. He only wants 400$ on it and he said hell drop it some more in exchange for some work on some of his small engines.

Ive always liked the malibu wagons, and have been distraut since a few months ago when i tried to buy a regal wagon and it was sold right before i could go get it. I know alot of people dont like wagons, but for people that do youll understand. Anyway, heres some pics of what it looks like, dont have actual pics of it yet, but the grey one looks exactly like it with the exception of wheels. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

SICK! GET IT!!!!!!!!!!! I love the 80s Malibu wagons and all the G bodies. There's a Regal wagon for sale around here too but it's all modded out and they wont take anythign under 17,000 for it :/ My dream cars are '72 Buick Riviera boat-tail , '59 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado sport-top, '79 Monte Carlo, '98 Mark VIII LSC w/ vinyl top, and a '98 Ford Ranger ext. cab. flareside minitruck on doors :p

Welcome to Facebook

That second pic with the camaro rims looks cool. I say lower it, chop the top and slap a built 327 in her.
I have a set of aluminum z-28 wheels and a set of chromed Iroc 15s laying around (the camaro wheels you mentioned are irocs i believe) but the car im looking at currently has these.

Im thinking 4 15"s on 3kw? The wagon has a spare tire well under it in the back where i can fit about 6 C&D 134ah batteries. 22 cubes of box space gross under the window line with the rear seat up, 30 cubes with the rear seat folded down, under the window line. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

You have obviously never driven a '80s Malibu Wagon for any period of time. They are right up there with Chevettes. Only thing i've seen them good for is a tubbed-out dragstrip clunker.

Hey man, don't be dissing the B-body wagons now.

I love my car. It's got plenty of power, and has the 3.23 posi rear tow package, so with all the torque, scares quite a few people at stoplights/around town. Plus it's got an epic exhaust note. Wagons FTMFW.

It's due for paint this summer, most likely. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
