By the wires, of course. If they pulled by the plug, like you're supposed to do, they wouldn't have any issues.

wow i had those krystals on a zx and slowely twisted them off by the plug heads and they still came out. its like the jacket that the tip screws into wasnt quite snug enough on the threads. i still have em now and just teflon taped em so they are fine now.
