Alright, I want to find some truth to this.I understand and agree fosgates older lines were underrated, some more than others.

What I find ridiculous is when people saw their t1ks and t1.5ks are putting more than 600 watts out than the model mark 1k, 1.5k. How underrated are they really? I'm referring to the new lines

Some of the old ones were crazy. My power elite t500.2 had a 100ah fuse and dude over 900 bridged

Someone got some clamp proof? If they're putting out so much more, why dont they make the 1k the 1.5k or the 1.5k the 2k?

I believe that the real answer here is marketing. Do you not pay more for a RF Power series amp? Are you not paying the equal of other brands 1.5kw amp when you buy a RF Power series 1K? Power Series is more under rated than Punch, and I understand that the Prime series will do rated, but very little more.

My T1000.1bdCP birthsheet says 1522 x 1 @ 1 ohm. That measurement was taken at 100hz. The birthsheet does contain a graph that goes from 20hz through 250hz. At 20hz, it's showing around 1420W. At 30hz, it shows 1430W. At 40hz, it's showing around 1440W. These measurements are all taken at 1 ohm. The amp is rated at 700W @ 4ohm, and 1000W at 2 and 1 ohm.

RF amps are benched according to CEA-2006 specs (so 14.4V). If you have poor electrical and crappy subs, the amp will probably suffer.....as would any amp. I'll try and get around to clamping mine if you want. Would I need video or photographic proof?
