forums becoming worse than EBAY

these days it seems the forums are no better or worse than ebay.

people on them are wanting something great for nothing and haggling sellers worse than an auction.

is it because:

people just want a steal of a deal?

or

people are broke a sses and just bull sh itting with sellers?

or

are they just plain cheap and rather have a hand out of something they can afford but dont have the balls to step up?

I know how it is. I've been low balled on some items in the past and it makes me pretty mad. I've rarely paid below someones asking price. Of course I got lots of good deals. Just ignore them assholes.

Some people are just lookin for a deal, some are just cheap sob's. The forum classifieds are a valuable tool to use to sell stuff though, just gotta weed through the lowballers to get to the good buyers.

Plus when your selling high dollar equipment you gotta realize the target group of people your selling to shrinks drastically.

Quit *****in and just keep hopin your stuff will sell eventually. Alot of good people and buyers on this site.

state you are FIRM with your prices but if you are negotiable (OBO mentioned) then expect to get "lowballed".

I try to keep offers within a reasonable amount (compared to Ebay prices).

Shit is, they back out without telling you. They just stop pming/emailing you after they have kicked your tires for a week.

I had one fvcker who claimed that he sent a money order but lied. The he said that he would send payment via paypal, then he changed his mind.

I lost at least two potential buyers during these 2 weeks of BS.

I had a trade arranged, but some shit seemed fishy so I backed out. I was going to trade my mt motor for an ipod, but this dude knew someone else with the ipod. Like a 3 way trade. this dude was going to send his friend the amp, his friend would send me the ipod, and I send this guy the mt motor. Then this guys friend wouldnt answer none of his calls, so I imidiately backed out, but told the guy how it is, and he was really pissed. But I felt like I was going to get scammed. But the good thing about this site is that I stumbled along a good deal for a recone kit and a 15" basket for $100 and reconed that mt.

never had a problem with it and have found some really good deals here

i only buy something if i know i can sell it later for the same price or more.

only time i even offer lower is if i kinda want something but dont quite have that much to spend or not enough in my paypal account

you're advertising to a majority of teenagers who make $150 every 2 weeks, who live at home and want a "bangin" system.

i paid $1100 for my 18" XXX. do you really think if i sold it on here i would get even HALF of that? please...

in reality, according to time, quality, usage, i SHOULD get around $7-800 for my sub.

yet i know if i posted it for sale, i'd get offers for $400 shipped.

you wouldn't be able to sell it for a higher price than 400 as someone else most likely would be selling it cheaper than you would.

yes. its annoying as hell. just make it known out right, "money talks", and there are no dibs. the person who gets the item is the person who drops money into my paypal first. no ifs ands or buts.
