forums becoming worse than EBAY

I hate the ol' I found it for cheaper on ebay deal. When i know its BS
I say good for you go buy it on ebay then.
i had some guy put up some major BS saying he just got a quote from DD for a 99z 18. he tried saying it would be under 2k shipped.

in otherwords that would mean a new 99z10 would be under 1k shipped MY A SS\

the 18s straight from DD are just over 3800. unless of course you are a dealer or competitor

this is true but when someone like in my case is asking 1400 and someone offers half seriously even needing money who in their right mind would take that offer.
i understand that but just say sorry not interested and move on.... i mean some people here get EXTREMELY offended by it.

i wont name names but there was a guy selling some tweets on here about a year ago. i offered him what a set on ebay just sold for and he acted like it was blasphemy that i offered him that just cause they retailed for like 300 bucks 6 years ago. he then called me a liar and when i showed him the auction he said since they were brand new never used that he still wanted his asking price for them...

a few months later i come to find out he sold them for 10 BUCKS LESS than what i offered him..... i found it pretty funny. but still insane how insulted he got when i offered him MARKET VALUE at the time for them.

i just replied and said stick with bestbuy thanks

other than that i didnt know what to think

The forum classifieds are rough these days..
need a helmet, a cup, and something to protect your ***

cup so you dont get kicked in the balls

something to protect your *** from being dry f ucked

and the helmet so just in case someone gets you bent over you dont get run through the wall head first

what i do truly hate is when people openly bash prices inside the thread. if something is higher than ebay theyll post in the thread that your price is too high. who cares, thats what hes asking and like what was said before go buy it on ebay if my price is too high. or at least PM that you think maybe his price is high. dont openly bash him like that.

personally id rather pay a couple extra bucks sometimes to a respected member on here for something rather than a member on ebay i know nothing about.

VERY TRUE!!!!

i had someone offer me $35 for my chocolate (in excelllent condition), when it was going on ebay for $200+.....

I also had someone offer me $200 for a zx2500. I didn't even respond.....

Well, I am on bones side here, no that there is much opposition. The issue I have is when eg. Bones is offering a used sub in great shape at about 50% of the origional value, and wise guys just assume that the asking price can be cut by anothe 50% because he is in need (desprite) Seriously, why kick a guy when he is down. Everyone want a deal, and there are very few listings in the classifides that aren't. I understand if you only have "X" amount of $ but if that far off the asking price, and the price is reasonable you need to move on and either save some more, or buy smaller!

I think that came out right!

Many a-holes here makes it worse than eBay
Ebay doesn't even ask for paypal fees. It's actually against paypal rules for the seller to ask for paypal fees.
Never understood people with that. If your worried about the 3 dollars on your 100 dollar sale just add the price in up front and ask for 103 bucks ya cheap bastards.

If your selling a $1000+ item they add up, if your worried just make an appropriate asking price to cover it.

You don't sell stuff on ebay and then tack on ebay and pp fees after the auction is over, you go into the auction knowing you will lose that money on the back end, so you set your price appropriately. Its not complicated.

Not only is it against the rules but a seller will flat out lose a claim filed against them if Paypal is made aware that they charged the buyer a surcharge (ie. paypal fees). I never ask for the fees cause that kind of risk simply isn't worth it to me.

Yup, thats crazy petty, .35 cents, anybody can find that in their couch..
well if I had 90 bucks in my paypal and no more money in my bank account I would not feel like driving all the way to the bank to deposit 1 dollar (plus you would look pretty dumb depositing 1 dollar, especially when its that hot teller youve been hitting on for the past 3 weeks:crap:) and it would seem pretty pettty to me for the seller to trip over 35 cents
