Former broke thru the cone

Im tuning the next box lower. I like the high 20s to much to be tuned in the mid 30s. It let go on Rack city

I don't understand why people think they need to tune so low. 32 is the absolute lowest you should EVER have to tune if you are properly designing your ported box.

It's either CA glue or goop I don't remember...I think it's CA glue

Either will work. CA glue is what is regularly used, Goop is for emergencies.

Could fit a 4th in that space. Do like 1 cube sealed 2.5 ported tuned to 38-42hz with a good amount of port.

Wow, DC must be using the same factory as Audioque to build their softparts. Inadequate or poor quality glue on the tripple joint. As you see that's not broken cone, that's broken tripple joint.

This is what a broken cone looks like:

You may be able to shim up the coil and use a shitload of thick CA glue to put that back together, but odds are without a cone attatched you probably beat up the bottom of the coil pretty good.

Why would having "only 2 12s" make that large of a difference in what is being discussed about the enclosure? I agree, there is no need to tune that low in 99% of most cases.
