Former broke thru the cone

If the scenario was perfect and a couple glue joints broke at the exact same time the magnetic field could slingshot it up through the cone.

...but it's likely that it was bottomed out repeatedly and shoved through the cone before it unwound/broke which is why DC is AWESOME!!!!111

I had a issue with a few boxes back that bottomed out bad. I couldnt do math well and made the box WAY to big. It could of hurt it and it finally let go after running the **** out of it for a few months. The other sub is fresh, it wasnt in the old box.

Im tuning the next box lower. I like the high 20s to much to be tuned in the mid 30s. It let go on Rack city
Even tuned in the mid 30's you should be all right. Rack city is 29hz and really isn't THAT low. Sounds like you might have some tuning to do with your sub sonic.

I can normally hear it bottom out, it must of been suttle. With what you guys have said I'm sure it was already weak from before. Next box is going to be 31hz

Just looks like the cone come apart from the former. From your description I thought it like shot up through the cone and was sticking out lol. Unless I'm missing something here, you might be able to fix that.

Former looks bent up. And peices of the cone are still glued to it. If it didnt have CF caps it might of shot thru. What would I need to do to fix it if I can?
