Had a 528i for a few years. Great all around car, but had too many issues to keep it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
My friend had an '06 M3, really nice car, & fast.......when it wasn't in the garage.

BMW's are overpriced & cost a fortune to fix when something breaks...... & their value depreciates like no other.

They are like the Honda of the luxury car world, besides the reliability part. In other words, both Honda and BMW are great all around cars.

Yeah from a reliability standpoint, European cars are not the way to go. Neither are American cars, but at least they cost half as much to fix and parts are much more available. The Mayan Calendar will have ended before I can find a replacement turbo for my S4...

A early 90's model Silverado owns the record for most miles on a vehicle w/ original motor.....over 1 million & the valve covers were never touched.

My grandmother has a '96 ford taurus w/ 400k miles & going strong.....my gf's '94 Grand Cherokee had 300k miles when she sold it & I bought her a '00 GC.

The notion that Honda/Toyota makes more reliable vehicles than Chevy & Ford is a myth. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I'm talkin small repairs nga //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif A merc diesel also did 1mil I believe.

Let me put it this way...You don't take care of a Japanese car, and it won't break. You don't take care of a European car, and you'll be cryin for yer mommy. American cars just do whatever the hell they please lol. Some last, some don't. Some break a lot, some don't.

I agree 100%

....my buddy w/ the M3 has a 90's Toyota Corolla w/ around 250k miles he daily drives...he beats the living FUCK out of that car & it NEVER breaks.

In high school I had a '00 Z28 w/ 50k miles, that I beat the **** out of & tore up every other week. My dad has a '02 Z28 SS w/ 150k + miles that never breaks, then again we have different driving styles. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
