Ford Focus ZX3

I wouldn't get a Focus unless it was the ST like mine or an SVT. The 2.0's are very slow and unresponsive to me, but if you really want to know all there is to know, Faulkton has an SES ZX3 I believe.

I have had mine going on 2 years now and I love it, just is a little small for hauling around 5 of us. So might get something bigger in the future, we shall see. Has been good to me though, as I have 24000 miles on it and not one problem with it. I have done a few mods to it and if I keep it will be getting a turbo for it, maybe.

Overall a good car and fun if you get the ST or SVT or if you have quite a bit of dough, the 2.0's can be modded easily.

Some of the older ones used a German made Blaupunkt radio...as did the Cougars...A Focus uses basically the same drivetrain as a Mazda 3 ...The newer models use standard antennas and have a basic ford plug...plus a nice double DIN opening...Mine is a sedan...and the ST model...It has the larger 2.3 liter motor...with a 5speed .....I average about 30mpg rolling on 18's.....

I get no were near 30 on average. I get like 25 if I am lucky. You must be easy on it or something.

I had to build my ST as well as I can't stand the big wing and ground effects kit.

too be honest I don't care for the wing or ground effects ether....but they are factory installed...I knew I didn't want the little 2.0 and it was the only way I could get the 2.3 with the 5spd or so the sales guy told me anyway......I do like the upgrade interior though

Wrong!

I have a ST Focus without the street apperance package. They have them all over the place. Basically mine looks like a SES with the 2.3l engine. I built mine though and had to wait a couple weeks as I couldn't find any locally. Then after I was car shopping 1 year later, they had them every where, lol!

You should tint the windows!

window tint and lowering springs are in the near future...I hope to have it paid off in about 2 months

one thing everyone that has a newer one can agree on is the cup holders under the dash **** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif especially when the little rubber cup inserts stick to your cups when you pull your drink out...I'm thinking about screweing some screws in mine to hold them in place before I end up loosing one....
