they are worth a try...I think i read about a rockford piece that is really awesome in adjustability...and eq settings...But I figure for the price those pieces cost...a basic deck will give less problems and easier system control....If I ever bought me an RX8 though I might would have to keep the factory deck...but mazda lost a sell in me because of that screwed up mess....

i like it so far I just bought it last week...I traded in my 06 PT Cruiser on it...lost a bundle...but the pt was really sluggish...the ST seems to have plenty of pep and gets better mpg.
