Ford f150 05- bl18, sundown, hertz, big build

have you drawn up a layout plan?If not you need to.
no i dont. ill tell you how i think wireing goes just from observation no one ever really told me how it goes.

power negative/positive goes from the hood battery to both amps. rca/s go from the head unit to the amps. speaker wire goes from amps to the speakers. thats all i really know and i dont even know if thats right

Draw it out I can't express that enough, that way you can make a check list to make sure you don't leave anything out....

yeah you got it for the most part. You could run the ground from the amps to the frame of the truck instead of all the way back to the battery...

and don't forget the REM's from the amps to the HU.

make sure the amps are fused properly at the battery.

It's not difficult imo.

right here or on top of the seat?
scaled.php

cool. do you have space to fit both amps under the left side seat?

I'm not a big fan of mounting the amps on the sub box unless its the only option.

uhhh yeah i probably can i think im might have an idea ill make a drawling later

thats a great spot, especially if you can keep your amps unseen/stealth.

Do you have to leave the seat out if you build a amp rack there?

read this if you haven't already. get a heads up on what you will be dealing with.

no i dont think so theres enough room im prety sure. if it doesnt fit there then i can put it behind the seat back if all else fails

i measured today and both amps wont fit under the seat so i was thinking about something like this

make an amp rack that attaches to the sub box so that all the wires can hide inside the box instead of free.

or is this a bad idea too?
