Ford f150 05- bl18, sundown, hertz, big build

is there a drawing that anyone has that can help me allot with the wiring? like the size and everything that goes to the speakers and head unit and all that. maybe one that would be the same stuff im using. it would help allot!

Do you aready have the Kenwood Excelon DDX812?

you need to get the radio dash kit for your truck also get a aftermarket wiring harness that allows you to retain your factory radio harness. That will help to keep things simple.

Wiring a system isn't all that hard imo. Your install seems pretty simple and straight forward.

no i dont have the kenwood yet i was waiting till i understand everything i need to get from sonicelectronix so it can be one package. can u order the radio dash kit and aftermarket wiring harness from sonicelectronix? if so can u send me the link so i get what your talking about.

Looks like Soniceectronix offers a free dash kit and wiring harness worth up to 12.99 apiece:)

When you order it looks like they're going to ask what type of vehicle is the unit going in.

yeah i tried that and like whent to the ordering page and put my car information in but it didnt really show anything that it was going to send that stuff

 
im having doubts about the wiring everything. anyone in OC? or is there a tutorial i can watch? i know how build a computer but so i just need someting to start me going then im sure i can do it

I understand your apprehension but if you can build a computer you shouldn't really have that much trouble with the HU. Baring any unexpected mishaps:(

The after market wiring harness should have all the wires labled eg. 12v constant, 12v igntn, grnd, right front speaker etc etc...

You would have to connect them accordingly on your Kenwood.

I'm sure there are tutorials on how to install a HU but I haven't search the net. Try crutchfield and the12volt. com

im not as much concerned with the head unit as i am with the electrical and amps
