Ford f150 05- bl18, sundown, hertz, big build

Big 3 first definately. I'd definately upgrade the front batt and grab an alt if you have the dough.

My truck with a kicker 550.2, and a sundown 1500 @1ohm would make my dash lights dim full tilt (headlights and A/C on) and I have a yellow top up front, big 3, and a 200amp alt. My voltage dropped down to low 13's.

i got 225 amp stock batt and big three and i get 0 dimming.

but i was only running a 1000D with 160 amps of fusing.

but i was probably pulling like ..... 1200 or so RMS

It appears the 1500d pulls some current. At one point I had a aq2200 with the same setup with a hc600 wired in the back and got no dimming and stayed in the high 13's.

wow thats crazy good thing i didnt listen to some people that said sundown 1500 would be the same or better on my electrical at .5 ohms compared to a zx1500

i got stock 130amp alt, no big 3, gold duralast upfront and a stinger spv70 in the back with run of 1/0 pos and neg and at the back battery only drops to 12.7-12.9 give or take a few ha and thats with a zx1500 and zx850.4

with big 3 done i should pick up a half volt possibly right

will having it in the back right make the bass sound directional? i have the same truck and have been considering doing exactly what your doing for some time now.

It will, but if you have some processing power (time alignment more specifically) you can bring it towards the front. Some say time alignment is more of a bandaid to a bad install but it can achieve what your looking for. Currently I have a temporary box of 2 8's sitting in the same spot in my crew cab superduty but by throwing some time alignment and such to the subs I can get them to blend right in to the music and sound like the bass is right up front on top of the dash.

 
can i do what your talking about with a alpine cda 9885
From the little research I just did I would say No. You would need something like the 9887, or the 9833. Or a Pioneer 880PRS or new 800PRS or any of the other active capable decks, or you could go with an outboard processor such as the Alpine H701.

 
Also i have a question. Im going to post everthing i know im buying for sure and i need you guys to tell me what im missing and what type ect. Remember suppose i dont have ANY wires or anything for this system so you guys cant leave out anything.

Hertz hsk 165

125 cu ft of damplifier pro

kenwood 182

0 gouge wire for big 3. (how much ft. should i get?)

knu wire for speakers and sub ( what kit/s should i get)

and then if i have money left over

new h/o alt

yellow top

kinetic 2400

am i missing anything? and tell me about the wire situation
