Ford f150 05- bl18, sundown, hertz, big build

looking very good on the build for sure. Nice to see it being done right the first time. I'm gonna have to redo most of mine come spring since I wanted to just get it "installed" the first time around and see totally what I was working with.
Truck looks like it is gonna be loud for sure with that 18.
i have the same truck and im doing low 140's @ 30 hz with one 18 and 1000 RMS //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I have the same truck (well extended cab) and I build notoriously quiet systems //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

u hear ya.

put back all the seats and panels today. only need 3 doors to do once the damp comes in the mail and im done with that

oh haha well if i put a batt in the back like a 2400 or something then wont i need to run it threw the wire channel?
When I ran a batt in the back I just popped a hole under the seat and ran through a grommet and grounded at the frame in the back.

For positive powerwire running from the engine compartment to the back batt there is a grommet just to the right of the stock battery box on the firewall if your lookin from the front of the truck. I ran through that then ran it between the console and passenger seat under the carpet in my truck.

1/0 won't fit under our sill plates...craps pretty tight in there.

If you have done the big 3 on this truck where did you feed the ground wire threw? did you use the wire channels that run along the side?
hahaha i have done the big three

i get a pic for you but i couldnt get the one that runs under the truck off so i just made a a new one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

yeah i figured something like that. so for the electrical situation first do big 3 no matter what. then get alt? then yellow top under the hood? then get a 2400 for the back?

i ran my 1/0 under the truck

theres grommets back there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif and if not pop a hole with the drill and drop you a grommet in there.

i believe parts express has them and i may have a few.
grommets are the pieces that hold the wire and on the other side have like gills that go threw the hole and stay right?
