Hey everyone i am trying to take a stock radio out of a 1992 ford explorer and the **** thing will not come out. what do i have to do after i take uot the dash panel and the things around it. is there something inside that holds it in or what is there that holds it in because it just seems like it is the front of the radio that is being held in and i can't get it out...I hope that someone can help me thanks..

not to piss you off or anything.. but with our explorer... all we did was slide a DIN tool in either side... and pulls.. and the radio came out.. no removal of dash.. or anything...

so basically... you wasted your time...

go get the tools, they are like $2 lol

Well thanks guy i got it takencare of and it worked like it was supposed to. We figured out that we didn't have to do all that stuff and yeh we felt stupid but it is ok that is ow you learn...
