ford explorer help

Ok i have been competing in an 02 ford explorer (third gen) with two 12'' nightshades, 2 1500s, and a big ol battery box in the back.. sub up expernal aero ports back, i am looking at ways to make the vehicle louder not get more power as i am reaching my limitation running in MECA s2, anyone with any suggestions i am at a loss for ideas, also it has the third row seat which make the vehicle about a foot longer than the one without in 3rd gen models...

turn the box so ports are facing the side? takes a few minutes and will b easy to do

Gelcoat the inside and outside of your box. Try sanding the side pannels that you have in your hatch and your hatch pannel itself. Get them smooth as possible.

Build a box around your batteries and amps, sand it, and gelcoat it.

deadning will help pick up your number some also will you be at the etown show..

yeah ill be at the lake!!! cant wait... but yeah i was scared of deadening because i have actually never used it on an SPL vehicle before.

Trust me it helps read jacobs thread where he deadened just his roof and picked up .4 dbs..And see you there in my explorer...

Doesnt help all installs tho, I have read and seen where sound deadener has actually hurt the score

i dont know if it will help me if i deaden the roof once i put the headliner back up... i really dont want to spend $$$s on deadener and it lower my resonant or hurt my score... also the back hatch on an explorer and a jeep are made completely different and of different materials.. most of my hatch is fiberglass and well glass... the back window is huge... really my biggest problem is fusing.. if i can get a full roll off im over a 50 but right now my best score is high 48s...i can run two fuses to make 75amp.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
