It has never been about the father paying the mother. It is based on who receives primary custody and has been for a long, long time. This is the reason it is called "child support" rather than "the dumb bish you divorced support".

first off, i dont care about the money, if she wants to pay she can. but im not going to try to force her to pay, i can take care of my kid w/out her help.

not full custody(similar tho), basicly we have joint legal custody and i have primary physical custody
