For the Kicker comp 12inch C124 should I get a ported box or sealed box?

Ah, with the yellow logo on the cone, right? Those actually work pretty decently ported, for what they are. Do something like 1.25ft^3 at 32-35hz, depending on what you're after. Use a lower tuning for better low-end extension, higher tuning for more spl but less low-end.

Good point. While there are variables, feed it about 200w and you should be good.

250w might be pushing it....

I had mine at about the rms and they seemed to not want much more

Im using a 750 watt crunch amp powering it right now its like a small amp though. is that bad or good or wtf?! lol they seem fine. pound pretty good.
